Who we are
neuromarketplace.tech is run by Harness the Spark, a UK business. Harness the Spark is the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions go to privacy@neuromarketplace.tech.
What we collect
- An account: your email address and a password, stored as a one-way hash.
- An enquiry: your name, email, organisation and the message you write.
- A seller application: your name, email, business details and what you tell us about your product.
- A sensory report: what you report about a product. An email address is optional and only used to follow up.
- An order: your email address and what you bought.
This site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies.
How we use it
Your data runs your account, answers your enquiry, informs the review of your seller application, delivers what you buy, and keeps listings honest. The lawful basis is contract for accounts and orders, and legitimate interests for enquiries, applications and reports. Your data is never sold, and never used for marketing without your consent.
Payments
Stripe processes payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers the data it handles.
Where it is stored
Data lives in a dedicated database on servers in Germany (Hetzner), inside the EU. Account emails, such as password resets, are sent through Google Workspace.
Other services this site uses
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser shares its IP address with Google when a page loads. Stripe handles payments, as above. No other third party receives your data.
Browser storage
Signing in stores a login token in your browser so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it. It is not used to track you.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account is open. Enquiries, applications and reports are deleted after two years. Order records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict how it is used. Requests go to privacy@neuromarketplace.tech. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
neuromarketplace.tech is not intended for anyone under 16.
